Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointment of Prince Ademola Makinde as the new Owa of Igbajo, in Osun State.
Osuntv.com.ng gathered that Prince Makinde was announced as the new Owa, via selection process held at the conference room of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, on Friday.
Recall that Gov Adeleke on November 28, 2022, a day after his inauguration ordered the reversal of all appointments made by his predecessor now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, after the July 16, 2022 governorship election in the state.
Former governor Oyetola has appointed an presented staff of office to Oba Gboyega Famodun, after a selection process by the igbajo kingmakers.
Gov Adeleke however reversed the appointment and that of two other monarchs, Oba Yinusa Olalekan Akadiri, the Akirun of Ikirun and Prince Ademola Oluponle, the Aree of Iree.
