The Osun Amotekun Corps has confirmed the arrest of a commercial driver, Taofeek Oyekola, aged 26, for allegedly attempting to rape a teenager using a magic ring in Osogbo.

According to reports, the suspect was reportedly said to have lured the 15-year-old girl to his residence in Osogbo, the state capital.
While confirming the incident in a statement on Monday, Osun Amotekun spokesperson, Idowu Yusuf, said the 15-year-old girl (name withheld) boarded an intra-city minibus of Oyekola at Oja Oba, Osogbo going toward Ilesa Garage Area on Saturday when the driver allegedly used a voodoo ring he had on his finger to hit the victim.
The suspect brought a ring and wore it on his finger, and touched the victim as the only passenger at the time which made the victim lose her memory.
However, the suspect thereafter drove the victim to his residence at Ita-Olookan, Osogbo. On getting to the residence, Oyekola asked her to undress, but the victim refused which made his neighbors to suspect him and led the his arrest.
