Popular Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji best known as Sisi Quadri, has died.
The iwo born comic actor passed on at the age of 44.
His death was widely announced by hsi colleagues including femi Adebayo, on their social media pages.
The news of his demise has left the Nigerian entertainment industry and his fans in shock and mourning.
Sisi Quadri was widely celebrated for his remarkable performances, particularly in the Yoruba comedy genre. His memorable role in the beloved movie “Seniyan Seranko,” which was released on December 4, 2004, endeared him to audiences across the nation.
The late actor was set to captivate audiences once again in the upcoming film “Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,”. His absence will undoubtedly be felt by his fellow cast members and fans alike.
Known for his exceptional comedic talent and his ability to deliver cutting insults with skills, Sisi Quadri portrayed characters burdened with the responsibility of humorously “yabbing” others.

Writing on her verified Instagram handle, actress Abiola Bayo said: “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace”.

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has described the death of the popular Nollywood actor as shocking and devastating.
The governor noted in a condolence message that Sisi Quadri was a fantastic actor loved by many.
“Sisi Quadri was a delight to watch on the screen, radiating homes with laughter through his style of acting,” the governor said.
